Klint Kubiak ready for next step in whirlwind year
Klint Kubiak is preparing for his next step as a first-time NFL head coach after a whirlwind season that included coaching work with the Seattle Seahawks and an immediate transition to the Las Vegas Raiders. After the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, he flew to Las Vegas for his introduction as Raiders head coach and began staff hiring and offseason planning. Following the conclusion of mandatory minicamp earlier this month, Kubiak returned to Seattle for the Seahawks’ Super Bowl ring ceremony. He said he is taking downtime with his family before joining training camp in late July. Kubiak described confidence in Las Vegas’ support structure, citing help from scouts and executives Matt Capurro and Mike McCoy. He also emphasized trust built from prior working relationships, including connections through his father, Gary Kubiak.
