Landers: 'We just played Ohio State football'
Robert Landers credited disciplined defensive play after Ohio State’s 39-38 win over Penn State, saying, “We just played Ohio State football.” The redshirt sophomore defensive tackle made two tackles for loss behind the line of scrimmage in the fourth quarter, including a stop on Saquon Barkley for a two-yard loss when Penn State faced 2nd-and-17 from its own 8-yard line. After Penn State punted two plays later, Ohio State’s drive produced the game-winning touchdown. Landers said the stop felt crucial, especially following a blocked field goal, describing it as a momentum shift that set up their nickel package. Overall, Ohio State limited Penn State to 10 second-half points and held a late advantage as J.T. Barrett threw three fourth-quarter touchdown passes.
