LSU football news: Lane Kiffin's proud of Tigers for setting 'good standard' with blowout wins

LSU improved to 2-0 on Saturday night with a 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech, but coach Lane Kiffin said the Tigers set a “good standard” precisely because the early performance wasn’t clean. LSU led 10-7 at halftime after four turnovers and 10 penalties for 101 yards. Kiffin suggested the uneven first half could keep the team hungry as it approaches its first SEC game.
