McNeese Announces 2026 Cowboy Block Party Lineup

McNeese announced the 2026 entertainment lineup for its Cowboy Block Party series ahead of the football season in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Presented by Lake Charles Toyota and the McNeese Athletic Foundation, the Friday night events run before McNeese home games and include free concerts, food, and family-friendly festivities. The first event is scheduled for Friday, August 28 at Townsley Law Arena, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. and music starting at 7:30 p.m. The Cowboys open their 2026 season at home on Saturday, August 29 in Week Zero against Stephen F. Austin. Most parties will be held at The Grove near the intersection of Common Street and McNeese Street. The series also features Wayne Toups, Flamethrowers, Chee Weez, Dustin Sonnier, Keith Frank, and LA ROXX.
