McNeese Announces 2026 Cowboy Block Party Lineup

McNeese announces 2026 Cowboy Block Party lineup with the schedule for the pre-game entertainment season in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The McNeese Athletic Foundation said the Cowboy Block Party, presented by Lake Charles Toyota and the foundation, returns each Friday night before McNeese football home games with free concerts, food, and festivities. The series features six major concerts giving fans multiple chances to hear live music ahead of cheering for the Cowboys. McNeese opens the 2026 home season on Saturday, August 29, in Week Zero against Stephen F Austin, with the first Block Party on Friday, August 28. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and music starts at 7:30 p.m. at most events in The Grove, with the August 28 concert inside Townsley Law Arena. The lineup includes Wayne Toups, Flamethrowers, Chee Weez, Dustin Sonnier, Keith Frank, and LA ROXX.
