Miami football next stop for Carrollton (GA) teammates and cousins CJ Cypher, Kweli Fielder

Miami is the next step for Carrollton (Georgia) High School cousins CJ Cypher and Kweli Fielder. The four-star quarterback and four-star offensive tackle, who have played together since age 7, both committed to the Hurricanes in June. Cypher, ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2029, and Fielder, ranked No. 8 in the Class of 2028, helped Carrollton post a perfect 10-0 regular season. The Trojans are No. 11 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Super 25. At Miami, the Hurricanes have the No. 2 recruiting class for the Class of 2027 after five-star wide receiver Brysen Wright committed on Nov. 5. Wright plans to reclassify to 2027. Cypher has thrown for 3,164 yards and 48 touchdowns without an interception this sophomore season.
