Nine NFL franchises are in different stages of stadium builds or renovations expected to cost close to $20 billion, and the Buffalo Bills’ new New Highmark Stadium highlights the rapid pace of change. More than a third of the league has already shared renderings in recent years, signaling an emphasis on improving the overall fan experience and enhancing premium seating. The report says at least six of the nine upcoming remodels include dome or shade elements, while all nine plan to upgrade luxury suites and club lounges to broaden their event portfolios, including a future Super Bowl, the 2031 Women’s World Cup, college football, concerts and other major events. It also notes a steady rollout: Tennessee (2027), Jacksonville (2028) and Cleveland (2029) are already in construction mode, with Carolina (2030) and Kansas City (2031) following soon.
