NFL Fantasy Football Week 9 2026 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Quarterback

Week 9 of the 2026 fantasy football Start ’Em Sit ’Em focus on quarterback matchups, highlighting that a QB can win without necessarily hitting peak scoring totals. The preview notes Chicago’s Caleb Williams’ performance in a 34-17 win over Seattle on Monday, with one touchdown but enough efficiency to power the offense. It then sets up several appealing QB opportunities based on the schedule: San Francisco faces Las Vegas, Detroit travels to Miami, and Chicago hosts Tampa Bay. Brock Purdy is featured as a strong QB1 option versus the Raiders, who recently allowed 33 points to the Jets and have struggled against explosive passing plays. Jared Goff is also presented as an attractive streaming/starting option against a Miami defense described as vulnerable to passing attacks, following the Lions’ 19-15 win over Minnesota.
