NFL Icon Found Guilty In Drunk Driving Case

Tony Romo was found guilty in his Wisconsin OWI case after pleading no contest Tuesday in court, according to Page Six. The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback’s driving privileges were revoked for six months. For any vehicle registered to him, the court ordered an ignition interlock device. Romo must also complete an Alcohol Assessment Program, pay court costs of $784, and a $50 fine—totaling $834. If he doesn’t pay that amount, he could face losing his license for up to a year. The court dismissed charges related to possession of open intoxicants and unsafe passing on the right. Romo issued a statement on Instagram describing the plea as a “personal failure.”
