NFL Mock Draft: Vikings land star running back in new projection

A new NFL mock draft projection suggests Minnesota could target Florida running back Jadan Baugh in the 2027 class. Pro Football Network’s latest mock has the Vikings choosing Baugh, describing him as a potential long-term complement if Minnesota is headed toward a commitment with Kyler Murray. The fit centers on pairing Murray with a workhorse back to balance Kevin O’Connell’s offense. PFN lists Baugh as the top running back on its big board with an 87.4 prospect grade, ranking seventh overall, and assigns him an 88.4 RB Impact Score. Through six games, Baugh has 672 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, handling more than 60% of Florida’s carries, with 6-foot-1 and 228 pounds. He’s also been valued as a receiver out of the backfield.
