The report stresses there is no set league deadline to finalize outcomes before Week 1, meaning the NFL could impose suspensions later if independent investigations warrant punishment. Nacua is tied to a civil lawsuit from Madison Atiabi alleging he bit her shoulder during a New Year’s Eve 2025 party; Nacua’s attorney denies it and a civil trial is scheduled for March 27, 2028. The Rams open Sept. 10 in Australia vs. the 49ers.
