NYT Reveals Dianna Russini's Huge Salary And 'Unacceptable Conduct' Before Scandal
NYT Reveals Dianna Russini's Huge Salary And 'Unacceptable Conduct' Before Scandal centers on a New York Times exposé alleging misconduct by NFL reporter Dianna Russini before the Mike Vrabel controversy. The Times reported that Russini made nearly $800,000 per year while working for The Athletic, and described her as one of the highest-paid journalists at The New York Times Company, based on information from a former manager. The article also says she engaged in “unacceptable conduct” during a traffic stop prior to the scandal. It adds that her contract was up for renewal in June, and that she quit in April after saying she refused to fuel speculation about her and Vrabel. The report recalls that media attention surged in April after photos emerged of Russini and Vrabel at a resort in Sedona and later described additional leaked images involving a bar in New York City and a casino in Mississippi. It further claims she did not seek permission to appear on a podcast, violating company guidelines, per a Times spokeswoman.
