Oregon Football's Record-Breaking Indoor Facility Is Already Turning Heads
Oregon will show off major progress on its new record-sized indoor practice facility when the Ducks host No. 21 UCLA at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. The project, known as “2.Mo,” spans 170,000 square feet and is designed to be longer, wider and taller than any comparable college football facility, topping nearly 100 feet. Oregon broke ground in February 2025, and the university expects completion in 2027. Construction is visibly taking shape, with steel arches, a curved roofline and an exterior shell made from Northwest timber inspired by Oregon’s “O.” The roof will use tinted polymer panels on a steel cable system to deliver natural light without glare. The new turf was first used during fall camp, and Oregon is hosting recruits including five-star quarterback Will Mencl and five-star EDGE Kameron McGee.
