Owls are on a roll; could they be going bowling? FAU football's season so far

Florida Atlantic’s Owls (4-1, 2-0 AAC) enter their bye week on a four-game winning streak after a historic 66-21 season-opening loss to the Florida Gators (4-1, 2-1 SEC). Since then, FAU hasn’t lost in more than a month, including a 66-10 Saturday night win over Texas Southern (1-4, 0-2 SWAC). The 66 points were the second-most in program history and the largest margin against a non-conference opponent. FAU’s turnaround is built on improved ball security—QB Caden Veltkamp has two interceptions after eight last season—and a defense that has forced eight turnovers this season. After the bye, FAU returns to AAC play against Army (2-2, 1-1).
