Patriots mailbag: Who will Mike Vrabel target at NFL trade deadline?

In a Patriots mailbag ahead of Week 6, contributors discussed the team’s injury-heavy stretch after starting 1-2 and winning two straight following victories over the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders. The conversation focused on whether New England will be a buyer at the NFL trade deadline, with injuries affecting availability—Will Campbell (knee) and TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) were noted as having left last weekend’s game. One response suggested major acquisitions may depend on getting injured players like Christian Gonzalez, A.J. Brown and Harold Landry back, possibly targeting additional edge depth, while noting Khalil Mack and Josh Sweat as names to watch. Other questions addressed Christian Gonzalez’s durability and whether QB Drake Maye’s lack of preseason reps impacted early-season underthrows.
