Prosecutors want Tate brothers to remain in custody as they fight extradition to the UK

In a response filed Monday, prosecutors argued the brothers pose a flight risk and a danger to the community, as the UK seeks them over allegations of rape and sex trafficking. The request came three days after their defense attorneys submitted a motion for release. A hearing scheduled for Thursday will decide whether the Tates remain in federal custody or are released during what prosecutors say could be a months-long extradition process.
