Rams' 53-man roster prediction for 2026 NFL season
The Los Angeles Rams head into the 2026 season with a roster viewed as capable of another deep playoff run, led offensively by Matthew Stafford alongside Puka Nacua, Davante Adams and Kyren Williams, and defensively by Myles Garrett joined by Byron Young, Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske. Several competitions remain even though most starting spots are largely settled, including backup quarterback roles, reserve running backs, final receiver positions, offensive-line depth, defensive reserves and return assignments. Los Angeles is 2-0 in the preseason after beating Kansas City 20-12 and New Orleans 34-0. The Rams finish the exhibition slate Thursday against the Chargers before opening the regular season Sept. 10 in Melbourne versus the San Francisco 49ers, with the 53-player roster deadline Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.
