Ranking FSU's best-ever games: 10-1
Florida State Seminoles football has a deep history of big-game moments across 80 seasons and 898 games, and a fan-backed vote has helped set the program’s top 50 matchups, with one more tally locking in the top 10. The latest installment ranks FSU’s best-ever games as #10, citing a dominant road statement over Clemson in a matchup viewed as an ACC Game of the Century. The game featured Jameis Winston throwing a touchdown pass to Kelvin Benjamin after a fast early turnover, and additional scores following Telvin Smith’s forced fumble and Lamarcus Joyner’s strip-and-score sequence. Even after Clemson cut to 14-7, Florida State’s defense and big plays—including Rashad Greene and Nick O’Leary’s burst—pushed the lead to 27-7 at halftime. The win included the most points allowed by an opponent inside Memorial Stadium and ended a five-game losing streak at Death Valley for the Seminoles.
