Leonard spent the past seven seasons with the Clippers, after helping Toronto win the 2019 NBA title. The inquiry began in September after a “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast episode described a Leonard contract with Aspiration, involving endorsements. The investigation is being handled by Wachtell Lipton, with no set timeline, though Commissioner Adam Silver said it must be concluded in a timely manner.
