Ravens to be without star rookie OG vs. Bills

The Baltimore Ravens are expected to be without rookie starting-caliber guard Vega Ioane when they face the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 after he suffered a knee injury in Baltimore’s Week 7 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. According to Ian Rapoport, the injury is not viewed as long-term, but Ioane almost certainly won’t play this week. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound lineman has been a key contributor through the first seven games, allowing eight pressures on 225 pass-blocking snaps and helping the run game as a road-grader. Although he’s a right guard by trade, he filled in at center for Weeks 4-6. Baltimore’s backup options are expected to be Andrew Vorhees or Emery Jones, a 2025 third-round pick.
