Reid's preseason 2027 NFL mock draft: Quarterbacks go 1-2-3 ... and one team trades up for the top pick

ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid has updated his way-too-early 2027 NFL first-round projections, using ESPN Football Power Index estimates for picks 1–32 while noting the actual order isn’t set yet. Reid’s key move is a blockbuster trade: the Cleveland Browns would trade their first-round picks (No. 4 and 32), plus a 2027 fourth-rounder and a 2028 second-rounder, to the Miami Dolphins for the No. 1 overall selection. Cleveland would then take Oregon QB Dante Moore. Reid’s early top-five also includes Arch Manning to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 2.
