Seahawks tackle, Super Bowl champ Josh Jones holds youth camp at George Bush HS: 'Football brought us together'
Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Josh Jones returned to George Bush High School in Houston on Saturday to host a youth football camp focused on opportunity and community. The Super Bowl champion, 28, described the day as part of giving back at his alma mater and said football “brought us together.” Jones, a Richmond native, was a high school standout who received a scholarship offer from the University of Houston a decade earlier. In March, he signed a one-year, $4 million contract to stay with Seattle and last season started three of 14 games. He attended the camp with his father, Bobby, along with former Seahawks and Texans safety Michael Tyson and several teammates from Houston’s “Coogs.” Jones, listed at 6-foot-7 and 339 pounds, previously played for the Arizona Cardinals after being a third-round pick and played for the Texans in 2023 following a trade.
