SEC football starting quarterbacks

The 2026 college football season for SEC schools begins in Week 1 with Missouri hosting Arkansas–Pine Bluff on Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. EDT at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. The game will air on SEC Network, and rankings are based on the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll. Tennessee, ranked No. 18, kicks off Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium at 3:30 p.m. EDT on SEC Network+. Auburn, with first-year head coach Alex Golesh, plays Baylor on Sept. 5 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta at 3:30 p.m. EDT on ABC. Week 1 also includes Clemson at LSU (7:30 p.m. EDT, Sept. 5) and Ole Miss vs Louisville on Sept. 6 on ABC.
