Skip Bayless Recalls WNBA Players' Caitlin Clark Disrespect After Player of the Week Honor

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 25.7 points on 53.7% shooting, along with 5.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists in three games from July 27 to Aug. 2. Through the season, she’s averaging 21.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists, ranking third in scoring behind A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Mitchell, and second in assists behind Alyssa Thomas. Following the honor, commentator Skip Bayless referenced the “disrespect” Clark has faced in WNBA peer voting for the 2026 All-Star Game, where she placed 11th among guards. Bayless and other critics cited concerns about the voting process; only 85 of roughly 180 players submitted ballots.
