Squads across Europe set to break from the huddle and play football

The DODEA-Europe football program is reorganizing across three tiers—11-man, nine-man and six-man—for 2026, with more teams returning to the updated structure. The 11-man league keeps eight squads, adding Naples and Vicenza to join six Division I schools. Stuttgart’s move into the North conference reshuffles the top teams: it won the 2025 title and joins Ramstein, Kaiserslautern and Lakenheath. The South conference features matchups among Naples, Vilseck and Vicenza, alongside the Warriors. In nine-man play, Spanish and Italian squads aim to challenge Benelux dominance. The six-man division expands further with new entrants Hohenfels, Brussels and Ansbach alongside defending champion Spangdahlem, Baumholder and Alconbury.
