Instead, Canada will travel to Inglewood, California, on Sunday to face South Africa. Switzerland will rest for a week and return to Vancouver on July 2 to face one of the eight best third-place finishers. The match followed Canada’s opening win, a 6-0 victory over Qatar, despite Ismael Kone being stretchered off with a broken left leg.
