Team USA takes the field, Dallas Austin takes the booth at The Cheetah's FIFA World Cup watch party

Team USA will take the field for the FIFA World Cup Round of 32, and Atlanta’s The Cheetah Lounge is hosting a one-night watch party on Tuesday, July 1. The event, framed around the Red, White & Blue and Independence Week themes, is designed to pair the match with Atlanta music culture. Guests will watch the game on screens throughout the venue before Grammy Award-winning producer and Atlanta music icon Dallas Austin takes over the DJ booth for an after-match celebration. The celebration also ties into America’s 250th anniversary, positioning the night as more than a standard sports viewing experience. The Cheetah said Austin is widely recognized for helping shape Atlanta’s rise as a global entertainment hub, with a career spanning collaborations with artists such as TLC, Boyz II Men, Monica, Madonna, Michael and Janet Jackson, Pink, and Gwen Stefani. Organizers also referenced the venue’s dining and entertainment lineup, including craft cocktails and a summer menu.
