The AP Top 25 crowns Texas No. 1 in Week 2 of college football

The Longhorns knocked off the top-ranked Buckeyes with the largest fourth-quarter rally ever against an AP No. 1 team, turning a major deficit into a win. Another shake-up came from Oregon, the Big Ten’s previously No. 6 team, which fell all the way to No. 21 after losing to Oklahoma State. The new top 5 is Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, Indiana, and Miami. Michigan also returned at No. 19 after a 17-10 win over No. 11 Oklahoma.
