The Rams' negotiations reportedly included ownership, general manager Les Snead, chief operating officer Tony Pastoos, president Devin Demoff, and head coach Sean McVay, highlighting the level of involvement Blake has attracted. Breer cautions that she is not the only woman earning consideration for the role, but she is among the most noticed. The NFL has yet to crown a female general manager, though female executives hold prominent roles in football operations; outside football, Major League Baseball has employed Kim Ng as a female GM for the Miami Marlins from 2021 to 2023.
