The price tag behind Taylor Swift's rumored wedding bash at Madison Square Garden
The potential wedding events of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden are being positioned as a high-cost, high-profile production, if the plans proceed. CNN reported that sources said MSG would host two events related to their union this week: a rehearsal on Thursday evening and a larger celebration for 1,000 people the next day, with reporters confirming a street permit in the area. Luxury wedding designer Tracy Taylor Ward said MSG’s dual music-and-sports identity could fit the couple, while estimates from wedding planners suggest venue costs could reach into the millions. One planner estimated $10 million, and another suggested $15 million to $20 million for a luxury wedding at the arena. Industry specifics discussed include lighting that could start around $650,000 and go near $1 million, and higher labor expenses because MSG’s work is unionized. CNN said it contacted Madison Square Garden to confirm rental costs and labor policy.
