This Is Worse Than Hell" -- The Weather Channel Did 2 NFL Teams Dirty With One Of The Most Ruthless Tweets Of The Season

A viral jab from The Weather Channel has added extra heat to the Week 5 matchup between the winless Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans, two AFC South rivals that both started the 2026 season 0-4. The teams are also chasing sole possession of the No. 1 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. On X, an independent account joked, “They gotta flex this game to the Weather Channel,” prompting the network’s verified account to reply “I’m gonna pass.” Houston has disappointed after entering 2026 with Super Bowl aspirations following last year’s playoff run, while Tennessee was more widely expected to struggle. The Texans’ offense has lacked rhythm, and star receiver Nico Collins has missed time with injury; defensively, the unit hasn’t matched prior form under DeMeco Ryans.
