Trump, Netanyahu murder plot suspects charged
Trump, Netanyahu murder plot suspects charged highlights a U.S. Department of Justice case involving an alleged plan targeting “high value targets.” Eight men, aged 19 to 32, were indicted on murder and terrorism conspiracy charges for an alleged plot involving armed drones during a mixed martial arts event at the White House South Lawn. Prosecutors said snipers were intended to target Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Elon Musk, among others. Authorities said the plot was foiled ahead of the June 14 “UFC Freedom 250,” held without incident and attended by about 4,000 fans in a temporary arena called “The Claw.” The charges were filed Thursday in Columbus, Ohio, in a two-count federal indictment.
