UCF football players get a behind-the-scenes look at EA Sports

A three-day career tour to EA Sports in downtown Orlando gave UCF players a behind-the-scenes look at game development. About a dozen Knights, including quarterback Alonza Barnett III, cornerbacks Jayden Bellamy, Nicholas Antoine and Antione Jackson, offensive linemen and other positions, joined the visit in May, with invites extended to players from Florida State, Florida and Clemson as well. The program aims to expose athletes to post-college opportunities in the gaming industry, guided by Clint Oldenburg, Madden NFL production director, and a former NFL and college player who pivoted to game design. The experience highlighted how athletic skill and strategic thinking translate into game development.
