UConn Football lands 2027 Ohio OT Jeremiah Ogbeifun
UConn has secured another commitment for its 2027 recruiting class, this time from Jeremiah Ogbeifun, an Ohio offensive tackle from Pickerington Central. Ogbeifun, listed at 6-5 and 305 pounds, announced his pledge via Instagram after receiving a January offer from defensive coordinator Ryan Manalac and building rapport with assistant coach John Morookian. The versatile blocker has experience at both tackle and guard and is praised for athleticism that translates from basketball to the gridiron. He chose UConn over offers from Buffalo, Marshall, Toledo, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, and others. UConn currently also holds commitments from Krystian Oakley and Aden Norris, with Norris pledging during the weekend of June 5 and Oakley following soon after.
