UConn football lands three more 2027 commits
UConn football added three more commitments in the 2027 class, bringing its total recruiting group to 23 players. Heading into the weekend, the Huskies are ranked No. 66 in the 2027 team recruiting rankings. Wilder Brasher, an offensive lineman, announced his verbal commitment on X Tuesday after receiving an offer Monday; the 6-foot-5, 280-pound Georgia native previously earned 12 offers, including Toledo, Kansas State, UCLA and Army. Brasher becomes Connecticut’s 22nd commit for 2027. On Wednesday, EDGE Javon Lane pledged to UConn; a New Jersey native, he is a three-star defensive end with six offers, including Syracuse and Temple, and he was offered on March 23 with an official visit last Friday. On Saturday, offensive lineman Jamarr Malcolm, from New York, committed after 13 offers; he stands 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds. Malcolm joins current 2027 offensive linemen recruits at UConn.
