Updates: Schotty explains his extra 'motivation'

Brian Schottenheimer said Monday that when criticism surfaced about Dallas’ offense and play-calling, he and the team focused on executing at the standard they believe they’re capable of. Speaking during his press conference, Schottenheimer emphasized keeping his attention on the task for both himself and the players, pointing to an intense game against a rival. The game recap included Dak Prescott’s 38–21 win over the Eagles, where he surpassed Roger Staubach for the second-most regular-season wins by a Cowboys QB with 86 and set a franchise record for multi-passing touchdown games with 80, beating Tony Romo’s 79. Prescott finished with 27 pass attempts, 15 completions for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Javonte Williams added 155 rushing yards, and rookie Camden Brown made his NFL debut, while James Houston was active for the first time in 2026.
