Vanderbilt men's basketball SEC home and away opponents released for 2026-27 season
Vanderbilt men’s basketball will face a mix of SEC opponents with a venue split that stands out for Tennessee, which the Commodores will play both in Nashville and in Knoxville. The conference schedule for 2026-27 was released on June 25. Vanderbilt is set to host and travel for Kentucky and Texas A&M, while playing Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas only in Nashville at Memorial Gymnasium. Road-only games include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. The program’s 2026-27 dates, times and TV information will be announced later. Coming off a 11-7 SEC record in 2025, Vanderbilt won the season series 2-1 versus Tennessee, including a 75-68 victory in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal. Tyler Tanner, a 6-foot point guard, leads the roster after returning from the NBA draft flirtation, and the team added multiple transfers including Sebastian Williams-Adams, Bangot Dak and Berke Buyuktuncel.
