Victor Oladipo makes NBA comeback plea to GMs: 'I believe my body is finally right'

Victor Oladipo is pressing NBA teams through a comeback plea that says he believes his body is finally “right” at age 34 and that he can still be a winning contributor. The veteran forward, formerly an Indiana Pacers All-Star, announced plans for an open “pro day” next Tuesday in Las Vegas, inviting NBA/pro executives, scouts, coaches, league personnel and officials. Oladipo recently worked out for scouts in Las Vegas and drew reports of tears after the session. Sacramento has interest, with Jake Fischer saying the Kings have hosted veteran workouts including Cam Payne and are also considering Elfrid Payton or Oladipo to mentor rookie Darius Acuff Jr., potentially alongside Russell Westbrook.
