Vote based on experience, not age, says BN's Rosli Abdullah
xCruzo Brief
Barisan Nasional incumbent Rosli Abdullah urged voters in the Nov 14 Melaka election to judge candidates by experience and performance rather than age. The Kuala Linggi assemblyman, 58, is seeking re-election and said his five years in office and good relationships with residents position him well. He faces Pakatan Harapan’s Mukhlisul Mubin Julasapiyah, 25, and Bersama’s Nur Farhana Hamzah, 41, in a three-cornered contest. Rosli won the seat in 2021 by a majority of 1,836 votes. He said that if returned, he will tackle flood issues, deliver road projects already approved, and build a new mosque, while also focusing on fishermen’s welfare and licence difficulties.
