He sat in Knicks owner James Dolan's suite with his granddaughter Kai and adviser Boris Epshteyn, while security checkpoints and a perimeter from West 30th to West 35th delayed entry for many fans. Outside watch parties were canceled and Bryant Park was offered as an alternative. Trump claimed to have been met with mostly cheers; critics, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, questioned the spectacle. The Knicks lost 115-111, snapping a 13-game playoff win streak.
