Westmoreland County athletes of the week: Franklin Regional's Reese Regelski, Norwin's Tanner Johnson

Franklin Regional striker Reese Regelski and Norwin’s Tanner Johnson were named Westmoreland County athletes of the week. Regelski, a second-year starter returning an all-section spot, has helped the Panthers open the season 2-0-1 and remain unbeaten in all section games. Franklin Regional has scored nine goals, with Regelski accounting for four, including two goals in a 6-0 win over Greensburg Salem and another in a 2-0 victory against Kiski Area. In an interview, Regelski credited team chemistry and defense-first transition play for the start. Johnson, meanwhile, is set to join Norwin’s 2026 boys soccer team.
