What grade should Packers get for 2026 offseason?
ESPN’s Seth Walder graded the 2026 offseason for all 32 NFL teams, assigning the Green Bay Packers a B+ while three teams received top marks of “A” or “A-”. The Packers’ offseason, according to Walder, included a contract extension for tight end Christian Watson, praised as having a “great chance” to exceed the deal’s value if he remains healthy. Walder questioned the trade of wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, suggesting he “might” produce more with a larger role. He also assessed Green Bay’s losses—Willis, Romeo Doubs and Quay Walker—through the compensatory pick process and pointed to the contract for Rasheed Walker, which had a base value of $4 million despite being viewed as a notable free-agent signing in Carolina. Walder previously cited the trade of Rashan Gary for a fourth-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys as one of the offseason’s best moves.
