EA Sports’ College Football 27 is scheduled for release on July 9, and the game positions Boise State as a strong contender by overall strength and player ratings. The Broncos carry an overall rating of 80, with an offense rated 82 and defense at 78. Boise State is the Pac-12’s highest-rated team in the game, ahead of San Diego State (77), Texas State (77) and Fresno State (76). For the first time since the series rebooted in 2024, the Broncos enter the season without any player rated 90 or higher on a 99-point scale. Running back Ashton Jeanty earned a midseason upgrade to tie for a game-best 97 in 2024, while left tackle Kage Casey was rated 90 entering last season. The top offensive player is junior Dylan Riley at 88, led by QB Maddux Madsen at 87. Defensively, edge rusher Jayden Virgin-Morgan leads Boise State with an 89 rating.
