Why Cavs Preseason Should Have Fans Excited for the Cleveland Charge Roster

Cleveland Charge aims to build on a strong G League track record as part of the Cavs’ ecosystem, highlighted by last year’s 23-13 record and a championship by some of the squad tied to the Cavs’ 2023 Summer League group. A key preseason focus is Ernest Udeh Jr., who has shown rim protection and high-impact plays for Cleveland, including alley-oop finishes against the Celtics and the Magic. Udeh is expected to open on a two-way deal, limiting his appearances, and could be the Charge’s starting center. The article also points to possible guard additions, noting that Kadary Richmond and Curtis Jones were released to make room for new players. The Charge kicks off Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET vs. the Motor City Cruise.
