Williams, Miles and Collier lead Lynx past Tempo 104-72; Toronto loses fifth straight

Courtney Williams, Olivia Miles and Napheesa Collier scored 16 points each as the Minnesota Lynx extended their winning streak to nine with a 104-72 victory over the Toronto Tempo on Thursday. Playing at Scotiabank Arena in front of Toronto Raptors star Scottie Barnes, the Tempo fell to 10-18 and lost their fifth straight. Collier returned after missing four months due to left ankle surgery, posting 24 points and 10 rebounds in her season debut Tuesday, then followed with another strong performance. Laura Juskaite and Marina Mabrey led Toronto with 19 and 16 points, respectively. After trailing 16-8, Minnesota built momentum with a 10-3 run to finish the first quarter 19-18 behind and led 50-41 at halftime.
