WNBA All-Star Game hits historic attendance milestone

The WNBA All-Star Game reached a historic attendance milestone as the 2026 event drew a record crowd in addition to standout performances. The WNBA reported that 19,783 fans attended Saturday night’s showcase, establishing a new all-time record for a WNBA All-Star Game. On the court, Team Spoon defeated Team Coop 129-122 during the All-Star festivities. Seattle Storm star Nneka Ogwumike added another marker to her Hall of Fame résumé by becoming the all-time leading scorer in the All-Star Game, moving past Maya Moore after scoring 11 points to reach 127 career All-Star points. Ogwumike finished with nine rebounds, three assists and a steal in her 11th All-Star appearance, tying Diana Taurasi for the second-most selections, behind Sue Bird’s 13. Jonquel Jones earned MVP honors with 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. Kelsey Mitchell led Team Coop with 28 points, while Caitlin Clark had 17 points, four rebounds and five assists for Team Spoon.
