WNBA Finals: 3 key Atlanta Dream players

The Atlanta Dream are headed to the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2013, needing to beat the Golden State Valkyries to win the franchise’s first championship. The series spotlights three players: Angel Reese, Rhyne Howard, and Allisha Gray. Reese’s defense and rebounding could be pivotal after a regular-season average of 16.4 points and 12.1 rebounds, while she also posted 2.2 blocks and 1.6 assists in the postseason. Jordin Canada is positioned as an X-factor if Allisha Gray’s health is limited; Canada averaged 11.6 points and 7.3 assists and has scored at least 19 points in four straight playoff games. Atlanta went 0-3 versus Golden State in the regular season.
