Zelenskyy: Belarus conducts measures in preparation for potential aggression against Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Belarus, under influence from Russia, is taking steps on its territory to expand the potential for aggression against Ukraine. Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine has already sent appeals to Belarus to stop the activity. He argued that Belarus has received the necessary signals from Ukraine regarding this cooperation with Russia, which he described as intended to prolong and intensify the war. Zelenskyy said that expanding Belarus’s border infrastructure for aggression must be halted and that de-escalation and peace measures should be taken by Belarus.
