Amadeus Cybersecurity Incident Exposes Data At 15 Airlines
Singapore Airlines says Amadeus IT Group accessed about 46,000 of its booking records via Amadeus systems, adding to a broader cybersecurity incident affecting at least 15 airlines across Asia, Europe and Australia. The airline told media on 3 November 2026 that most impacted records included passenger names, booking reference numbers, travel itineraries and booking classes. Around 620 records also involved more sensitive items such as email addresses, phone numbers, travel document information and KrisFlyer membership numbers. Singapore Airlines said no bank account or credit card data was exposed and no bookings were changed, and that its own IT systems weren’t breached. It is contacting customers with upcoming trips to update booking references.
