Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Supply Chain Allegedly Exposed After Tata Electronics Hack Leaks Secret Maps And In

A Reuters report says a ransomware group, World Leaks, allegedly posted sensitive files on the dark web after a cyberattack on Tata Electronics, one of Apple’s largest manufacturing partners in India. The leaked documents reportedly include detailed component maps identifying suppliers for hundreds of parts used in the unreleased iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, including battery, camera, and logic-board components. The files also purportedly show where Apple sources from multiple suppliers and where it relies on only a handful of companies, raising potential supply-chain vulnerabilities and affecting negotiation leverage. Apple and Tata Electronics did not immediately respond to Benzinga’s request for comment. Some files reportedly carried an Apple “Confidential” watermark and internal iPhone 18 Pro-generation codenames, alongside photographs dated early 2026 showing gray prototypes undergoing drop testing at a Tata facility. Apple shares closed at $281.74 on Monday and fell 0.72%, then slipped another 0.17% to $281.27 after hours.
